Post Memory - Post Archive

FREE

The Post-Memory, Post-Archive project, funded by the Goethe-Institut Nigeria, is coming to Port Harcourt! This all-day Garden City experience is presented in partnership with Art in the Garden City, Visions Film Society, and Alliance Française Port Harcourt. The event marks another stop on a nationwide tour featuring archival projects developed in partnership with the Nigerian Film Corporation. The project brought together artists and researchers from diverse disciplines, who traveled to various archives in Ibadan and the Nigerian Film, Video and Sound Archive in Jos to explore Nigeria’s storied history. Join us at Alliance Française Port Harcourt on April 11th for the opportunity to experience these films. This is an invitation to engage with our past, rethink the importance of archives, and actively shape our future.
